Dear Parishioners and Friends of Holy Trinity
We are delighted to inform you that the south facade sanctuary windows at Holy Trinity have been renovated and restored. Please come and see them; we want as many people as possible to experience the beauty of these timeless windows. This means that we have now renovated and restored both the north facade Rose Window and the three large south facade Sanctuary panels since January 2025.
We are deeply grateful to all who have contributed, no matter how small, to preserving the beauty of the windows. Thank you!
We are especially grateful to Mr Gavan and Brendan Ryan of the Ryan Foundation for their contribution, which enabled us to renovate the south facade windows. The remaining work is restoring the windows of the saints along the tops of the east and west sides of the church. This will cost about R1 million—about R55,000 per window. So, we still need to work towards ensuring that these windows are preserved for future generations. With your help and commitment, we can do this together.
A special thanks to the team at Artglass, led by Fanus Boshoff, who have worked on this project (see a picture of the team below). We are grateful that you recognised and respected the beauty of the windows and set about restoring them with such great enthusiasm, precision and professionalism.
If anyone would like to help us light up the windows on the south and north facades of the church from the outside, please contact the parish. This would be a wonderful way to see the windows at night.
If you would like to contribute to the ongoing restoration of the Church, you can make a donation HERE.
May God bless you all. We are deeply grateful!
Fr Russell Pollitt SJ Parish Priest
